Six o’clock at the park

Nobody arranges it. At six the park fills, and by seven somebody has produced a flask of tea and a box of something fried.
This post is old enough that the badge has left it, unless an editor widens the window on the listing block.

Morning. The cat is asleep on the sofa, where the first sun lands.

This step brings no picture of its own, so the sofa stays. That is the rule: a step keeps the picture before it.

By noon the warm patch has moved, and the cat has moved with it.

Evening. The balcony cools down and the bougainvillea gets a visit.
